  • Calvary food pantry

    Right here at church we give away assorted food packages to those who need. Please contact the church (562)925-3706 to schedule a time for pickup: Normally Tues. thru Friday 9am-2pm.


    Feeding our church and community is dependent on the donations of those who are able. We thank you in advance if you can call to schedule a time to drop off any of the following:

    • Canned Meats
    • Pasta & Pasta Sauce
    • Dry Beans
    • Rice
    • Canned Fruit
    • Loaf of Bread


  • bellflower food distribution program

    YMCA Grab and Go Meals are being distributed on weekdays from 9 am-11am.  Starting Monday, April 6, the location for their distribution has been changed to the Bellflower Unified Nutrition Center.

    The meal bags contain breakfast and lunch. Unless you can verify with class Dojo, parent portal, mail, or additional means the number of school aged children, cars without children in the car will be limited to two (2) meals. The YMCA will have 1000 meal bags available each day.  Orders will be based on demand so if you need food, please come get the food you need. https://www.busd.k12.ca.us/Page/5430

  • Southern California Edison

    Southern California Edison announced that it is suspending service disconnections for nonpayment and waiving late fees, effective immediately, for residential and business customers impacted by the COVID-19 emergency. For more information, visit sce.com/billhelp.

  • Socal Gas

    • For Residential Customers, who are having a hard time paying their bills, we have temporarily suspended service disconnects EVEN IF you received an automated 48 hour shut off notice. In addition to this, we are offering assistance with paying your bill.
    • For our Small Business Customers, we are waiving late payment fees.
    • We are committed to helping customers experiencing hardships, including from COVID-19. If in need of assistance, we encourage customers to call us at 1-800-427-2200.


  • Spectrum internet

    To ease the strain in this challenging time, beginning Monday, March 16, we commit to the following for 60 days:

    • We'll partner with school districts to make sure local communities are aware of these tools to help students learn remotely.
    • We'll open our WiFi hotspots across our footprint for public use.
    • We'll continue to offer Spectrum Internet Assist, our high-speed broadband program to eligible low-income households.
    • We'll offer new customers who don’t have Spectrum internet two free months of internet and WiFi to help households with students in Pre-K to 12 and/or college with their remote education.

    • We won't terminate service for 60 days for residential or small business customers who face difficult economic circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Similarly, we won't charge late fees for those customers facing difficult economic circumstances related to the pandemic.

  • NorthGate Market

    All 41 Northgate Gonzalez Market stores throughout SoCal will also open early to help the elderly and disabled from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. in addition to its regular store hours.

  • SUper A Foods

    Super A Foods announced a "Senior Shopping" period from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. for people older than 65 beginning Tuesday.

  • Stater Bros

    All 169 locations will open at 7:45 a.m. for seniors over 65 years old.
