cordially invites you to our first Father Daughter Formal. We love God and we love families, so we are hosting this event for families to help build strong bonds and joyous memories that will last a lifetime. This event is for all families and is essentially meant to strengthen the relationship between a father and his daughter(s) or a father-like figure and the special young lady(ies) in his life.

Advance sale price: $50 per couple and $15 per each additional daughter

(After May 22nd, the price adjusts to $70 per couple and $25 per daughter.)

As a woman, can I bring my daughter in place of her father?

While we celebrate mother/daughter relationships and pray for them often, the theme and content of this event are specific to “father/daughter” relationships and any other pairing would be distracting.

Do I need to be a member of the church or CR to attend?

This event is open for all father/daughter couples regardless of whether they are part of CR or a member of the Church. We appreciate everyone acting in accordance with the Church’s standards of propriety. Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.

Where is the actual formal being held and what about the weather?

The event will be held outdoors on the “Patio” which is central to the campus and has parking nearby. Parking is free. We will move the event into the “Family Center” which is adjacent to the Patio if the weather turns unpleasant.

What is meant by "fun dance"?

There will be a special opportunity for a father and daughter couple to share a special moment together on the dance floor. These personal moments are respectful and loving providing a memory that lasts a lifetime. 

What is the purpose of this event?

This Father Daughter Formal had two main purposes. First, because we believe God intends the family as the critical, main unit of any healthy society, we are hosting an event that can build, strengthen, and repair family bonds, especially between fathers and daughters. Secondly, we hope to raise funds in support of Calvary Bellflower’s annual Christmas Missions Projects.

As a fundraiser, where does the money go?

One hundred percent of the money raised above and beyond the costs to host the event will go to our Celebrate Recovery Ministry’s contribution to our Church’s Christmas Missions offering. Click here to learn about last year's projects.

Am I able to sponsor someone else and remain anonymous?

Is there a way to attend this event at a discount?

In some circumstances, CR may be able to assist with up to half sponsorships.  Please alert CR via email (steves@calvarybellflower.org) for discrete consideration.
